Crap my mind thinks of...
Phrases I hate…

My school uses a lot of crappy phrases to get stuck in our minds, most of which i despise…

“The world of work” is one, it annoys me so much as it claims that it is a world, it is only a job, not a bloody world!!!

“suceed in your preparation, prepare for sucess” Ok, this vaguely makes sense, but the teacher that coined it uses it so much that it is as worn out as my socks!

On the subject of that teacher, she once made an assembly about cake (it’s so gooey etc) and yesterday it was about cookies… wierd…

anyways my school annoys me, the end.

Equal oppertunities?

well, in cooking today I discovered that equal oppertunities and all of the connotations that it brings to mind are worthless.

Right, so when you hear the phrase, what do you hear? Everyone gets the same chance?

Thats what I hear, and apparently the legislation doesn’t even apply to me!!
To give you some background information, i do food technology in choll, and this year we started coursework… pretty crap, but anyways one person got a laptop to help them do their work… fair enough I thought, so I asked my teacher. He said that it would help that person to do it, and I did not need one (I will say here that my handwriting looks like a drunk, high spider vomiting its way across the page)

So i checked up on the word of the law (i’m boring like that) and found out that it only applies to disabled, homosexual and ethnic minority people…

Why not cover everyone?

Kids or kidults?

Right, now for the first post of my rant page…

I don’t think that kids are allowed to act like children any more, they should be out playing, not sitting inside doing tests!

I know that I’m only 15, but when I was a kid (without wanting to sound 60…) we had a play corner of the classroom and time during the day to be kids. My sister, now 8, is taking mock exams and whatnot… Is this really how we are meant to learn social skills?

The government complain about obesity and underage sex, but they make schools give out 2 hours worth of homework to 10 year olds and give 4 year olds sex ed… a little bit odd?

When I become supreme ruler of earth, I will allow childish behaviour, as children will act as such…
